Finding St. George's

St. George's, University of London is part of the St. George's Healthcare NHS Trust (Hospital) site in Tooting, South London.

Coming to St. George’s by London Underground

The nearest tube station is Tooting Broadway, which is on the Northern Line in Zone 3. St George’s is about 5 minutes walk from the station.  Please view the Transport for London website for more information.
 
Tooting Broadway station is about 22 minutes from London Bridge Station (on the Bank branch of the Northern Line) and 25 minutes to Waterloo Station (on the Charing Cross branch of the Northern Line).  Tooting Broadway Station is not wheelchair accessible.

Turn left out of the tube station into Tooting High Street. Cross the road and walk down Hoyle Road. At the end turn left into Effort Street where you will see the main St George’s Hospital entrance.

Once you are inside the St. George's complex, pass the florists and head straight on towards the main University entrance and reception. There is an information desk near the main Hospital entrance if you require further directions.

Coming to St George’s by car

The closest major roads are the A3 from the West, the M23/A23 from the South and the A2 from the East.

Congestion charge

St George’s is not in the Congestion Charging Zone.

Car parking

The University does not have public car parking space. There is a limited amount of pay and display parking in the area and we strongly advise using public transport.
