We are looking to appoint an exceptional person to join the MBBS problem-based learning (PBL) team in the Centre of Clinical Education. The post holder will facilitate PBL tutorials to small group first year Graduate entry MBBS4 and Transition year medical students in accordance with the relevant tutor notes. This will be achieved in consultation with, and with the support of the Small Group Clinical Case Tutorials Lead and the MBBS program administration team. The role would suit a healthcare professional or an academic with a passion for education.
Key attributes of the successful applicant include:
- Successful track record in facilitating small group teaching within the Higher Education sector
- Accurate worker and high attention to detail including when under pressure
- Passion for delivering inclusive education and experience working with students
- Strong organisational, time-management and communication skills
- Enthusiasm and personal initiative to solve problems, a self-starter with ability to work unsupervised
